Text all in Japanese?

Can anyone help with this? I start the game, voice acting etc is all in english but the text is all in japanese (like when you choose new game, continue etc), so when I go to choose settings i'm having to try to go off memory of what they were from the ps2.... how the hell do I get it in English?!

I had the same.
When you open the game -> You'll see screen with
FINAL FANTASY X
FINAL FANTASY X
ETERNAL CALM
ETC.

Below them there is the SETTINGS in smaler text.

The first thing there is is "language".

It looks like a glitch that happens when you first launch it.
