How do you get players that have a contract with another team?

Rf - Isken under "best stats for their position"

Wait until the contract goes out. Pray the other team doesn't resign them. Then go to their location and sign them.

They almost always resign them. There is however a trick regarding hiring a player in that position for one game as far as I'm aware.

Go to that player and speak to them with 2~5 games left of their contract and scout them after every game.

Forward - tidus/vilucha/shammi/lianna
Mid - Brother is a beast. Svanda/tatts
Def - Ropp is a monster. Naida/Wedge/Kiyuri
Goalie - Miyu until you can sign Nimrook

He does if you start lvl 1 after Zanarkan

I always put a fast defender (like Naida) in the MF position becaue the oponent's MF will run right into them and lose the ball every single time.

I like Ropp in the mid for similar reasoning.

Tatts is an amzing player altogether. His nap pass 3 ability lets him level ridiculously faster than other players once he is able to use it. Nap pass 3 the entire team to sleep and free shots and passing to level other players on your team. easiest way to get way ahead of other teams

Yes but you can stay playing Blitzball as soon as you leave Luca. Starter players would be ones available then.

[Ghin]

Tidus, Wedge, Brother, Ropp, Tatts, Miyu is a good team you can get to start off with on the airship. Then you can pick the kinds of players you like after you figure out what stats you like playing with.
