Jecht Shot (PC)

I can't for the life of me figure it out. At first it worked using W, E, D, A and S but now it won't, pad doesn't respond either. I am hoping those of you who got past this can share with me their keybindings etc.

I havnt actually gotten to the spot myself, if I have any issues with it I will let you know (using a logitech f710 gamepad)

You might be using a keyboard that doesnt recognize more than one pressed key at a time. Gamepads should be fine tho.

I'm using the default keybindings on a DS4 controller via DS4Windows. But I haven't got to that part yet lol

Well I can confirm it worked for me on my rock candy xbox 360 controller using the D-Pad, not the analog stick.

The way they have it set up for the Jecht Shot for the key board is really fked uped...Pushing 3 keys at the same time is so wrong...

Whoa yeah that sounds rough on the keyboard. I played with my keyboard until just now. Broke out the controller because blitzball was on the way!! Anyways, I used a 360 with the d-pad as my gamepad and it worked well. Try not to get carpel tunnel!

it took me a few minutes and a few reloads to actually understand when to hit the key commands
but the key commands on keyboard are easier than you would think, or to me atleast.

as gamers we are meant to have good hand eye coordination, these 3 button presses are just an example.

You have to use the arrow keys and c like if the words pop up in different areas of the screen, lets say top right side of screen you press the arrows up + arrow right+ c all at the same time and then repeat for the wording in the different areas on the screen till they are all gone, i had to try this several times to finally do it fast enough but i got it and so can you!

too bad tidus doesnt have enough hp in blitzball to make the jeckt shot more than once in the tournement, and most likely not at all in a game since you only have like 2:00 or so of time to get it off at all. haha but good luck all, i know there are ppl with better luck than i so it is entirely possible.

Isn't it possible to, basically, button mash the Jecht Shot, on console? If your keyboard or controller->PC thing will accept it, you could try that maybe?

I am working on installing all the nonesense needed for the PS3 controller to work. It is such a hazzle, every youtube vid is 10 min long (slits wrists)...no other options it seems...

Yeah the ps3 thing is a pain. I ended up buying a logitech gamepad so I didnt have to bother with it anymore. They have almost the exact same shape as a ps3 controller and they work out of the box for any game with xbox gamepad support.

You can get a wired version for like 16 bucks on amazon.

Don't give up. I don't own a controller. Won't buy one either. I reloaded no less than 26 times trying to do it. Frankly I was getting pretty pissed. I could 'tap out' the keys very very quickly and with no apparent errors. But it kept failing over and over and over.... When it finally succeeded I had trailed the very last key combo a little bit. I believe it was the up+right+c key and BAM he kicked it and it was done. So try waiting on the last combo until a second or two after the last words dissappear. Worked for me and I was JUST about ready to quit playing the game. lol Whew.
