Sorry it took me so long to reply; frankly I was too embarrassed to admit I had no idea what "kb/m" meant. (After staring at it a few minutes, I'm guessing "keyboard and mouse".) The mouse / trackpad rarely come into play at all-- usually just using them to navigate the main game menus.
Other than that, it's keys all the way through. It took a while to get used to the layout, but they're working perfectly fine overall!
Of course, these are just the default bindings in the game-- you can change them to whatever you want by hitting Escape and going into the list.
Thanks, I'll update the post! I'd thought it wasn't available until later because I was trying every key I could-- I probably just tried "Escape" at the exact wrong moment, or maybe I fumbled it and hit the wrong key.
I am using an A-10 mobile series latop for gaming...
You can only use your Overdrive when your Overdrive Gauge is full. Then, in battle, hit the "left" button to use your Overdrive. A list of commands should come up then, different depending on the character. There will probably be examples on YouTube, and you can pause to read them carefully if it's going by too fast for you.
If you wanna be a bit cheaty, the Supercharge option makes the Overdrive Gauge full every turn.
Sorry for the late reply; I didn't see this. Did you remember to add a new key for Open Menu/Guard? It's what originally had "v" as a bind, and it's possible it won't let you change it if one remains unbound. (Not sure, though.)
If that's not the case, I'll need a little more info to understand what's happening :)
Why did you revive a 2.5-year-old thread? Anyway, the Soft Reset button combination isn't included in the PC version, unless you use the fan mod Untitled Project X. With the mod, you can use the Select-Start-L1-L2-R1-R2 button combination (Ctrl, Shift and Backspace with keyboard controls) to get an instant game over and therefore reset to the main menu.
Other useful buttons that haven't been mentioned here:
* To skip the Zanarkand intro scene that plays before you reach the main menu, press Pause (keyboard "B" or controller Start by default).
* To skip the Zanarkand intro scene that plays after you start a new game, wait until the game shows the characters, then press Display/Hide help window (keyboard "N" or controller Select by default).
