they should at lease survivable in the early on but no everything just shredd them apart

guess auto battle will only be useful later on in the game

Also I am not expecting them to be able to kill bosses with the auto AI

It's the same in all the FFs with auto-battle or 'rush' modes, whether in the original versions or added in. I think it's mostly just for when you're in areas worth grinding and you can take things down quickly with normal attacks.

Try the actual X-2 monster AIs, always spamming protect when I want them to use Telekinesis :<

It's working exactly as it should work. Even early game monsters require certain specific attacks/spell to kill efficiently. Obviously auto-battle isn't going to do that for you.

sigh :c guess no way to skip grinding i guess...... hmmm bah ._. grinding those sphere going to be a pain in the butt guess i will do those till i get the air ship
