Lulu's Dress

I think I found a reason why Lulu's dress is so crazy. As she is a magic user, of course she would dress in impossible clothes like that. It's obviously held up by passive magic.

Well, it's of course up for debate just what is the deal with that dress in first place. I also had this headcanon that the reason Lulu doesn't 'look' pregnant in the sequel is that she simply makes herself look normal to other people. (with the possible exception of Wakka...)

Is she doing that magic on Wakka too? When Rikku calls him tubby and yet he's literally as buff as he was in X.

It's possible, yes. But then again, I guess Rikku was just teasing him. And then again, playing Blitzball is sure to make you fit!

I can understand in-universe him getting slightly unfit over the years because he retired, but the model is the exact same. Change your clothes, dude!

Did Wakka go back to playing Blitzball in X-2 though? (I know you can recruit him back to the team in X after a certain point but they never mention it so I don't really consider that to be canon)

It's possible, yes. The pilgrimage was after all a success and i'm sure the Auroch would be more than happy to play with him again.
