FOUND: Any blitzball "always win" cheat mods or anything being worked on?
EDIT: Thanks to Binnes I have a solution.
A cheat engine table that allows you to edit Midfielders hp, and the end, pass and shoot of the current active player. Note that you'll have to manually turn it off when the opponent gets it, then back on again when you get possession. A bit fiddly, but certainly better than playing Blitzball!

Download the cheat table found here: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=5670627#5670627

Then open it with a tool, such as Cheat engine 6.5, which you can get from the same site: http://mirror3.cheatengine.org/download/d1/CheatEngine65.exe

Note that a later post is working on a cheat to dodge lightning bolts. if you're interested it might be worth keeping an eye on, so that you don't have to waste hours of your life, or set up an auto clicker.

I want Wakka's ultimate weapon but I both hate a suck majorly at Blitzball. Always used an action replay on my ps2, but no the only other way around it is mods.

Anybody hear anything? :)

I'm not sure, but I'll just say that blitzball is really easy. It requires very little skill. You only need to recruit the best players and make sure you get the Jecht shot. The first story forced game is the hardest. Later on you should be destroying the other team every game.

so much effort for something that I activley dislike, alongside many others though.

Blitzball is EASY to win if you cheese it. Just get to the point where you can recruit Brother (when you get the airship permanently). Brother has by far the highest speed stat in the game.
Toss the ball to him and run circles around the enemy team so they are all away from the goal, toss the ball to tidus and Jecht shot for an easy point.
Get the ball back and sit behind your goal post, enemy ai goes insane and goes around in circles until the time runs out.

(that is of course unless this has been fixed in the remaster, but I dont think it was)

the AI going around in circles hasn't been fixed... at least not in the exhibition game I tested it under.

Someone noted in another thread that it autosaves after every round, so as long as you can take the lead at some point you can then save scumm your way through the rest of the match. maybe not ideal but it makes it easier than it was originally.

I would also like an always win cheat...

I REALLY despise Blitzball.

Assuming it still works from the original Ps2 version of the game, there's actually a really easy way to cheese Blitzball.

Step 1. Get 1 goal. Use the Jecht Shot or Sphere Shot.

Step 2. Swim behind your own goal.

Step 3. Wait till time runs out. The opponents will never approach you.

The only bad thing about Blitzball is that you are given a very poor team and then forced to fight a ...decent...team in Luca. I know back playing it throught the first time I swore off Blitz. I'm replaying it again (PS2 cause my laptop sucks too much for the Re-relases(one day...)) and had a decently fun time with it. Once you get rid of the Aurochs it gets to be pretty fun. Especially if you get Brother.

all these things are great but I don't care.
I just wanna know if there's an auto win mod in the works so i don't have to run around recruiting people and doing ♥♥♥♥. Just 99-0 and afk. If there isn't, that's fine, but I'm hoping there is because I really dislike blitzball and want to put the absolute minimum effort into it to get the overdrives/ultimate weapon then never touch it again, like I have done for the last 14 or so years.

If you want something, you need work on it, nothing is free. Stop crying like baby and start play Blitzball:D

yes lets all be forced to do something we dont like............coz of course we all have loads of free time on our hands. No one works for a living or anything or has a family etc etc

I know this isn't what you asked for, but there are several really good blitzball guides out there. I used to suck at it too, till I got the right players on my team.

Honestly though I found that if you get the Jamal guy in Luca as your goal keeper, Brother as your Mid fielder (most suggest putting him as a forward but for some reason I found that he worked better for me as a mid) and then Tidus of course at LF. There are suggestions of course for all the other positions, but with those 3, and mostly the Tidus/Brother combo, I found that I was pretty much unstoppable

No body is forcing you to do anything. If you suck at it than don't play it or get good. If you choose the right blitz players for you team YOU wont have an issue of winning blitzball. I'm not a fan of blitzball either, but it's easy to play if you know what you're doing.

The only issue I have a problem with is winning the first tournament in luca. It can be hard to do because you dont yet have access to all the potential recruits. I dont really care for Blitzball either, but I refuse to fail the first tournament, so I'll just keep trying and resetting until I beat it :D
If I did ask for a cheat, it'd be to get the jecht shot in the first place lol.

Also I really didn't even touch blitzball till I gained access to the airship. There are some reasons to start earlier, according to some guides, but I prefer to just wait till all the good players I need are available and I can go right to them. Also there's a technique to reset prizes so you can get the reels, and ultimately the sigil faster. If you do end up just going for it the normal way, I highly recommend looking that up. Once you get a good team going it's really a lot of fun
