Controller isn't supported. [SOLVED]
OK, it's normal for me that games doesn't support DS4 natively (except Rocket League) but I use DS4Windows and the game still doesn't recognize my pad even if system thinks that it's Xbox 360 controller, any idea guys? Am I missing something? I've never experienced such problems.

EDIT!!!! OK, it's solved, 'hide ds4 controller' in DS4Windows worked out pretty fine. Everything's good now.

They said directly on the stream that only Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers are supported.

The game only supports Xinput (so pretty much Xbox One Controllers). I haven't used DS4Windows in forever (I use an Xbox One Elite Controller now), but can't you have it emulate Xinput instead.

Yeah, and as I said, my controller is read by system as Xbox 360 controller, I did it for dozens of games (converting the DS4 into X360) and it always worked for the games that only support X pads.

Yeah, I emulate the signal itself to Xinput and it still doesn't work.

Also, if I remember correctly there is an option in DS4Windows that has it disable the PS4 controller otherwise the controller shows up twice (both the original and the "360" version). It is possible the game is defaulting to the Original controller which is Directinput and won't work.

Are you using windows 10 by chance?

If so, try checking the box "hide DS4 controller" in the settings of ds4windows. This always works for me with games that don't seem to like Win10 and a DS4 controller and said software (Dark Souls was the same). If not, sorry that's all I got. Hope you can get it working.

Yeah I use win10 and yeah, it worked, thanks for advice ^^

just switch to an Xbox ONE controller. It's not that expensive, and must be the perfect controller available by now...

Personally, I prefer the PS4 controller as the Xbox One controller causes my hands to cramp during extended use (the uneven analog sticks really screw with me). The only reason I use the Xbox One controller is because it is more consistently supported by games.

How well does it work with the 360 controller? Is it worth it?

My x360 pad works fine with Windows 10 and this game.

I can plug in the PS4 Controller without DS4Window and it works

It's suprising. I use DS4Windows cause I want to use it wirelessly :)

So the controller works flawlessly with DS4 hidden?

How is the controller support in general for the game?

Sorry for kinda hijacking the thread.

Controller works great. I mean if anything it would be the KB+M controls that would be borked since this is the first version with those controls.
