If I had the Vita version
I have the Vita version and playing on PS TV. Is there any good reason why I should buy the steam version again?

I'm only interested in graphics, story and gameplay. The music doesn't bother me much, if any improvement was made in that.

The Vita version, like the PS3 version, did not allow you to use the original soundtrack. This version, like the PS4 version, does. This version also has the boosters:

These five are toggleable:

Speed Mod - 2x or 4x (DOES NOT AFFECT MENUS AND CUTSCENES)
Full Overdrive Every Turn
Auto-Battle with AI (doesn't just press Attack)
Encounter Mod - 0x or 2x
No HUD

These three are permanent:

All Items (not Key Items)
All Skills
Max Gil

Otherwise it'll be mostly the same.

the graphical fidelity will be somewhat higher, too. the vita version runs with a sub-hd resolution and i doubt that post processing effects like ambient occlusion, color correction and anti-aliasing are either set as high or even in effect at all. don't know about shadow/texture resolution and filtering. but i guess that's better on pc, aswell.

wait, about the game boosters, All skills and max gil and all items? so does that mean like unlimited money, unlimted potions, all weapons and the sphere grid is unlocked? Sorry just confirming about these booster things.

you can choose to use them or not, basically just cheat codes with no codes.

Yes, if you go into the menu and turn them on, you can't turn them back off.

Thanks guys. I purchased FF games from X below on Vita and I thought I will have XIII and above on PC.

However, since the Vita version did not display the older games (IX and below) in widescreen, I was disappointed and thought I would repurchase everything again in Steam.

PC doesn't display VII-IX in widescreen either. Their assets only exist in 4:3.
