FFX full screen not working
When I apply full screen or limitless screen to my game, it only takes up like 75% of the screen and then its just my desktop background. Can anyone help?

Would playing it in windowed mode and use Windowed Borderless Gaming[westechsolutions.net] Tool help?

Did you make sure the resolution matches your desktop resolution? Have you tried Borderless?

Are those available options? If so, that's nice.
I am yet a bit feared to download 33 GB :fscared:
Probably I'll do it while I am at work tomorrow.

You have to turn off DPI scaling to get supersamplng to work in fullscreen. The DPI setting can be found by right clicking ffx.exe and then going to the compatiblity tab. It is one of the options. I'm currently using Nvidia DSR at 4K downscaled to 1080p without problems now.

Found this thread after buying the games on Summer Sale. The above solution worked with a couple of extra steps. DPI scaling wasn't an option but if you click change the high dpi setting towards the bottom of the compatibility tab and check the first box and select to use this setting when running this program it should fix the issue. Did for me at least.

"Fixed" mine with FFX.exe > Properties > Compatibility > 'Change High DPI Settings' > 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' > System. It's still windowed, but close enough to fullscreen.

Your resolution may be off... Make sure you're using the right one for your monitor.

For Linux-users having issue with the settings-part of the launcher, simply open the folder /home/<username>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/359870/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/SQUARE ENIX

copy GameSetting.ini so you have a backup,
modify the details by hand, example:

Language=en
Resolution=1920*1080
ScreenMode=SM_WINDOW
Quality=VQ_HIGH
Mute=Off
MasterVolume=100
VoiceVolume=100
MusicVolume=100
SFXVolume=100
Brightness=50
VSync=Off
Anisotropic=8
Shadow=1
TextureQuality=TQ_HIGH
MSAA=8
ColorCorrection=On
PostAA=PAA_ON
UnSharpMask=Off
HDAO=Off
Invincible=Off
EncounterRate=ER_NORMAL

Language=jp sets speech and text to japanese in the whole game. If all values above are correct or not, don't know, it works nice for me.
