For what I get the game just has English vo, am I correct?
I'm asking because I already have the game and the only thing that tempted me to get it on Steam (albeit at a GREAT price for two full games) was the dual audio option.

This version is English audio only? No Japanese vo?

You shouldve read the newest announcement by the dev then, they said no english subs / jp audio due to "technical reasons"

"Technical reasons" sounds more like someone just coundn't get the rights to share the seiyuu voices on a West release.

I call BS. The PS3 and PS4 reasons had it, the PS2 international version had it, so you know what? People are going to mod it in the game.

It's been said in many places, but short version: the game has all the language tracks stated on the store page, regardless of which region you buy it in, but because of unstated "technical reasons" you can only have Japanese audio with East Asian language (Chinese / Japanese / Korean) text and English audio with European language text.

FF7 was just a matter of replacing the midi tracks with new files. This is probably more of an issue of licensing. For whatever reason some Japanese VAs don't want their work released outside of Japan. Happens with licensed music sometimes too.

Thing is if it was VA licensing / contract reasons, the JP voicetrack files wouldn't even be in the game we download.

So yeah again, the Japanese audio files are there, it's just a matter of making a mod that swaps things around, mostly.

Wait, I didn't know that (yep, I've been a little away from everything lately because of some issues). So the game actually COMES with the Japanese vo, but you can use it only if you play the game in Japanese or other Asian lg?

I think I'll be waiting for the previsible mods to appear...
