Blitzball Contract Cheat

I'm trying to get Nimrook but the old so called cheat isn't working for me where you enter the exhibition game and reset out. It isn't changing the number of games left on his contract. Since you can't do R1+R2+L1+L2 select start reset, how do you get the contracts of players to decrease without playing full games? Thanks.

You actually need to forfeit the Game, this works when you got the Ball (at the start or after a few mins, when your team got the ball from the enemies), this works via pressing Y (on a 360Pad), where you can set to Normal/Manual1/Manual2 Mode etc.

If I recall right, you can only forfeit if you are losing the match. If you are winning or in a tie, you can't forfeit the match.

In Exhibition Matches you can always use a Forfeit, but only if you are having the Ball (so it's 50/50 at the beginning), in the worst case the enemy needs to shoot a goal first, if you can't get the ball for whatever reasons.

Thank you everyone. Using your advise i was able to figure it out and it turns out that you have to play the exhibition game against the team of the player you want. Once i got to 1 game left on Nimrook's contract i saved and entered into the exhibition game. If he resigned i just shut down and restarted the game. After a few attempts i was finally able to sign him!!!

think i have read somewhere that it helps to talk to the player before the match.

Well yeah dude. Or else the Al Bheds wouldn't have played a game to make Nimrook's contract go down.
