FF X-2 Chapter 5 Mushroom Rock...
So I'm in the Chapter 5 trying to gain 100% story completion.
So far done evrything aside from Guadosalam, Calm Lands and Farplane.

Before Mushroom Rock Episode I had 89%,
which is according to different guides is the right number.
According to these guides Mushroom Rock events should add 3% to the total value
That's 92%....but when I completed the episode I only got 91%
All treasure spheres have been watched at the airship.

So what did I miss?

Thanks in advance

Mushroom Rock Road - 3%

- Complete the mission by fighting with the Youth League and completing the episode
- Go to the Observation deck and speak with Lucil to receive Nooj's Sphere
- Watch the "Deathseeker" Treasure Sphere on board the Celsius
- Obtain all the Crimson Spheres and defeat the bosses in the Den of Woe

EDIT: If you did all that you should be good for Mushroom Rock, the game sometimes counts weird e.g. it rounds 91.6% as 91% instead of 92%.

That's exactly what I did....

Problem is - according to guides it should be 92% exactly [89%+3%]

As long as you get around 98 or 99% on your first playthrough, just rerun the game on NG+ and rush to New Yevon, you'll get 100% in the middle of your playthrough.

Also, if you ever get these items at some point, you won't get 100%.
- Key to Success
- Minerva Plate
- Enterprise

To be more precise, if you get them FROM TOBLI you're borked. You can still get them in the Fiend Arena and be totally fine (you can farm any number of them there at will).

Guys, you're not following me.
I had EXACTLY 89% with only Mushroom Rock, Guadosalam and Calm Lands Hotspots left

Guides say that Mushroom Rock should add EXACTLY 3% to the total completion value.
That should be EXACTLY 92%...REGARDLESS of what will happen at Guadosalam with Tobli

I may see there that I screwed up with some Tobli missions [which I doubt BTW],
but for now I want to understand what have I missed at Mushroom Rock, that I didn't get 3%

As far as I understand, only Celsius navigation system rounds up the completion number
[like 90,6% ~ 91% for example], but from what I see saving files display only whole numbers
[like 90,6% ~ 90%]. Correct me if I'm wrong

You might have skipped something then (skipped cutscenes, pressed X/A too fast or whatnot). If you're sure that you're at 89% BEFORE you even land on Mushroom Rock, then you should get 92% at the end of the episode (1. Lucil handing you Nooj's sphere and watching it; and 2. Completing the Den of Woe and getting back to the airship). I would consider restarting that part if you want to be sure. Make sure you talk to all key characters, or even the trash npcs to double check, but as far as I know, you only need to talk to Lucil, Elma, Yaibal in there.

You followed the official guide? It has a bug in it... HAHA, ♥♥♥♥ right? I forgot about that till you mentioned it but they never fixed or changed it from the official release with the PS2 games.

Sorry but i don't remember the bug, i have it written down but i'm not sure where my orignial PS2 guide is for that game since i'm replaying X atm.

P.S. You're not allowed to skip cutscene's.

I know about skipping cutscenes. I'm actually quite familiar with this game,
which only doubles the confusion. I don't get where it gone wrong.

SadIy, I guess at this point it really is faster to just speedrun at NG+
up to the point of cooperating with New Yevon [as NoobOfTheDay suggested]

Thank you for trying to help, folks. I appreciate it.

Okay, i found my guide. I'm don't think this is your problem but with the official guide, you can't get 100%. I used http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/643146-final-fantasy-x-x-2-hd-remaster/faqs/27786 on my PS4 playthrough to get 100%, you also need to do the relationships online.

Yep, this on of the 3 guides that I checked with [they all have the same percentage numbers].
Unfortunately, it didn't help

Don't worry mate. On NG+ playthrough, you can skip cutscenes as long as you've seen it in your 1st playthrough already. You'll probably reach Ch2 in about an hour or two. Maybe less if you decide to just do the hotspots with the almighty Chocobo with Iron Dukes on x4. You'll most likely end up with 99.6 or 99.8 if you only missed a few things, which means just around 2-3 special cutscenes worth.
