Steal successfully with Rikku 200 times question about exiting the game

Hey all was wondering I know normally when you save progess nothing gets erased but far as the achievements go when you enter back in and load the exact one I got up to 100 steals so far and was concern if you would have to restart all over again.

Not sure why I got worried about that but thx for the info!

I'm not sure, but stealing with anyone might count as well (quite possible to give Steal command to Kimahri).

Why would you think that when the achievement requirements clearly state:

Steal successfully with Rikku 200 times.

The achievement only works with Rikku and no one else. Her "steal" command adds a +1 somewhere when successful until 200 then surprise, achievement complete.

Using her "mug" command also contributes to the tally.

Kimahri obviously doesn't count towards the total, as the achievement is for stealing successfully (i.e. getting an item, not the "nothing to steal" message) 200 times with RIKKU.

Yeah, I did it with her mug too which would be a steal with damage. It's a rather easy achievement since I never used rikku for anything but stealing and using items, anyway.

@Zero Same thing here, i tranfer her to Lulu and Yuna Sphere Grid after she completed her own to tranform her in a badass magician.

Yeah, if you just use the turbo booster, along with cursor lock in options, it's very easy to get this achievement in 20 minutes. Btw, you should really consider using rikku in your main party. Her mix is almost necessary to use when going up against the later superbosses.

Speaking of stealing/Mugging, if you steal/mug with Rikku then escape the battle sortly afterwards with Tidus, does the item that she stole stay in your inventory, it's just that usually she gets a turn first before Titus gets one.

The item gets into the inventory the moment it's stolen. And why would it leave if you don't finish the battle?

Games are weird like that sometimes. Especially when you get a 'no items found' message right after you leave. I was a little worried about it, too.

That isn't weird at all. That occurs if they don't have anything to steal. The achievement is straight forward just somewhat laborious.
