Thank you for this insanely helpful guide! I do have one question though, and it's a bit complicated.

I was following a guide to obtain Yojimbo, but I mistakenly thought I could obtain him for 150,000 gil so that's all I had with me. I did select option 3 and went through the sort of bidding-war with him but then got to the minimum payment of $190,000 and had to back out. Every time I went into the chamber after that it went straight to the payment section and he would never go as low as $190,000 again.

My question is though, he also never asked me again why I wanted his services. Did this save Option 3 still?

I don't remember right now, but yeah, I think the game only lets you select the Yojimbo option once. In fact this was a huge deal and all the Final Fantasy X guides used to tell you to select carefully because there was no going back.

However if you want to make sure you have the right option selected, or you want to change it because you made a mistake, you can use the save editor FFXED. My personal recommendaton is that you don't use it to cheat unless you have beaten the game at least once, but in case you want to use it, you can follow my other guide here:
