Anywhere I can get the completed sphere grid?
Whew, trying to get all my sphere grids completed for the achievement but this is more of a chore than anything. It's going to take me an entire day of Tonberry grinding. Anyone just got a save file with that stuff already unlocked for all characters?

From what I can recall back in the day from the ps2 version. The most efficient way is to craft an item that gives overdrive to ap, set the overdrive for ally's taking damage and get cactors to use 10000 needles on you.

Alternatively, you could use the Get All Item parameter change and use the Warp/Master/Attribute spheres to fill out the grid. (Parameter changes don't mess with achievements)

Don Tonberry deals 99999 damage with Karma if you get enough kills. Equip weapon with Overdrive to AP, Triple AP, Triple Overdrive. Doesn't take an entire day.

You can do a legit grind on a certain char or something if you like that char a lot.
Or just use Parameter unlock. It doesn't block achievement. I did mine by completing the whole board with Kimahri first (and 9999 999 255 everything on him) before using the parameter on the 6 other chars I don't care much about. Took me like 2 hours just to use master and attribute sphere from mashing enter though.

Don Tonberry trick even works with characters you never use. You just have to grind their "Comrade" Overdrive mode and use a main character to take the damage.

If you can't be bothered to grind, you don't deserve the achievement.

achievement
noun

1.

something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.; a great or heroic deed:

You're acting as if the achievement is anything more than a ding and a number on your profile page.

Of course it is.

Its the self satisfying I'm better than you.

we all know nobody else cares, but that doesn't mean i don't want you to not care or take my opinion as gosple, or tremble with fear when PF22 throws in their two cents.

Afterall if i have an achievement few others have, that makes me a god.

we all seek our own validation :)

I'm using the Tonberry trick actually, but it's going to take hours upon hours to fill out all the sphere grids for each character. You can only get 99 moves per grind.

I can do it, just...seems like alot of wasted time. <_<

An achievement can either serve as a bragging right or a badge of shame depending on how people looks at it and this one, is viewed as a "waste of time" by the majority, not the minority.

Real achievement should have some sort of productivity behind it or actual challenges, not 20 hours grindwall with no challenge. The only thing it takes is "Great effort".

Awesome that did the trick, thanks man. I just finished getting Tidus's grid maxed out and was groaning that I had all the others to still do :p

No it's not, if game allows cheats and loading saves/scripts, etc.

something accomplished, especially by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.; a great or heroic deed
Current generation of gamers don't even know what that means, since they use every possible tool to bypass any effort. Just quick one button "give me all".

Or some of the old gen have messed up sense of achievement.

That grinding wasn't an achievement. The kind of achievement that actually means something are stuffs like

200 lightning dodges
5-Chest chocobo
0:00 Chocobo
Butter fly catching
Beating Luca Goer during story

Because you are doing something where mistakes can spell failures in the face.

If you want another kind of achievement, be the first one to kill Penance without quick attack, 9999 hp defensive armor set up and Overdrive used. Do the same for Nemesis and don't abuse Hyper Mighty G + Quick attack. The 100% turn-based gameplay means anyone can copy the steps and reproduce the same result. You have to be the first one to come up with something to achieve something in such a game.

Or play X-2 but even that one, with the pause, you can cheat most of the mini game and there are a lot of game breaking option available from the start of the game like Psychic.
