Never tried super charge or auto battle, but the turbo and encounter ones are fantastic.

Yeah really nice to have and super charge is basically always having overdrive and regen your hp to full health... lol

The only time I ever used Super Charge intentionally was during the final boss of the Via Infinito.

Because screw that guy.

auto-battle is only really good for physical attackers since all it does is use the attack commands. I'm thinking it could be pretty useful for capturing though especially with turbo on too

x4 Speed + Supercharge + Auto battle + no encounter are godsends when you have to start killing the same thing for the 10th time.

The amount of time wasted waiting for the Auto-potion animation and using "Quick attack"....

Max gil ftw.

Max gil ftw.
Amen. Nothing is quite as time-saving, especially early on, as having unlimited access to gil, without being game-breaking. All it does is reduce the grind to get enough pots and antidotes to get through. On the other hand, all items,,, Would probably be horrifically overpowered, especially once you get Khimari the use command and can start tossing out all the various gems... Nah, Max Gil, timeboost, auto-zerk and increased/no encounters is more than enough for me. And I'd be much happier if the Overcharge just restored the Overdrive meters ^^* Oh well, still nice to have the option :)

Oh, I know what they do, I just dislike not playing the game, you know?

When you're killing Yojimbo or Earth Eater for the 50th time, might as well just leave it on auto attack with super charge and proper armor. You are already beating them with ease without any real strategic value taken into consideration. If these dark Aeon actually get to use their overdrive early after 5-6 hits instead of just flat out dying at half-bar, it might actually be work grinding normally and do the yuna-aeon switch once in awhile.

Eartheater is one you can just leave it on forever with auto-potion, 20% mdef, auto-phoenix and 255 MDEF. Don't even need supercharged. Supercharge just remove that annoying pot animation from auto-potion and save you 5-10 second per fight.

Even then, I prefer to fight my own battles.

Or just use the give all items instead of pointless grinding.

The only post-game battle that really feels like a battle is Nemesis and maybe Dark Bahamut.

IN case of Nemesis, you actually have to keep a paper near you to track its counter and switch Aeon in accordingly to tank (If you want) while entrusting transfer OD to Rikku to use her Hypermix G for auto-life.

Anything else are just "Whack with Quick hit and watch as the enemies are unable to defeat you thanks to your auto-phoenix"

Or rotating quick hit on Penance.

I'm not using any of the more 'cheaty' functions.

However, 4x speed, auto battle, and increased encounters is absolutely wonderful for saving time when catching monsters for the arena.
Aerlee Jun 2, 2016 @ 9:07am
where i can turn on these "functions" ?
Psychometric Jun 2, 2016 @ 9:09am
They're in the menu when you hit 'esc'.

Also shortcuts:

F1 - Increase game speed
F2 - Supercharge (I think)
F3 - Change encounter rate
F4 - Auto battle

F5 does something too, I can't remember what

EDIT: F5 removes the HUD apparently if you want to take nicer screenshots
