To install texture mods, you'll need Kaldaien's UnX mod. Install according to directions, then extract my texture files to "Final Fantasy X X-2 HD Remaster\UnX_Res\inject\textures". To uninstall my mod, just delete the texture files.

I was about 10 when I first played FFX and replaying it now after all these years I have realized juts how pervy square was/is.

Lulu tits are shpved in your face by the chosen camera panning. Yunalesca and Donna are near naked. Rikku's wetsuit is skintight.

And X-2 is worse.

You have to realise that japanese culture is different than western. You only have to watch anime in general to struggle to find one that doesn't have a teenage/preteen girl bathing at some point.

Thank you for making such thing even though I will not be playing FFX-2 as it's an insult to FFX title.

The thing is, I find super revealing clothes disgusting and so does my family. Imagine how awkward it was for me to try this game, so much misunderstanding.

You know, with this mod, I might just give the game another try.

Anime isn't really a good example, though. Even big names in the anime industry are getting fed up with how much anime is about young women without enough clothes on. I am so jaded its the dancing dress spheres, combat etc that bother me :P. NM all my characters in x had over 9k hp celestial weapons next game they all noobs again that cant hit for squat got no hp got crap weapons, where is my sphere grid?

Course all sequals suffer from the mc got amnesia between games and forgot the hours of grind you put in to skill and gear them up, crafting recipies.

Witcher 1 it worked your guy literally had amnesia, but from there to 2 to 3 wth is my geralt my uber leveld bad ass with every recipie and craft item in game know nothing the next game. :P

mass effect you also. Cept zombie shepherd he was dead so he could forget some stuff. 2 to 3 though common.

I don't like the original designs. I don't think they fit the characters (in Yuna and Rikku's case), I don't think they fit the universe (they look too modern to fit in with Spira's overall aesthetic), and they're impractical as hell. They're designed to be sexy above everything else and I hate that, especially since Final Fantasy hardly needs to rely on half-naked teenage girls to sell. They could put a big steaming pile of chocobo poop on the front of a box and still sell games.

it's not about practicality, but whether the original art, heck even removing bits of clothing might be offensive to those who would say it spits on the original artwork. I mean an HD retexture is one thing, but this is another. I'm not saying that's totally my view 100%. With or without your mod, the gameplay can still be enjoyed, it's rather subjective if you see Yuna's bare neck to the top of her top or a shirt there, doesn't affect gameplay at all, so how is it impractical?
