Japanese audio with English subtitles?

I absolutely hate the english dub of this game, is there any way to play it in Japanese with English subtitles?

See it this way: be happy that it's a PC game and we can actually get unofficial support, instead of being stuck with the as-is on console :)

Be happy it actually came out for PC as it was a PlayStation exclusive title for 15 years.
Of course there was PS2 emulation but that wasn't official either.

I am happy it came to PC, but that doesn't mean I can't criticize the game or the developers.

Oh I agree, FFX and beyond should have all supported Japanease with English subtitles all along. I'm really hoping FFXV does.
