X-2: What are your preferred Dresspheres for each character?
Kinda just curious what everyone enjoys to use most. :3

When I played this to the near end (Bahamut puzzles), I used
Yuna: Songstress
Rikku: Warrior
Paine: Warrior

The amount of grinding I needed to do in order to get that far must have been ridiculous. I remember grinding on the Highroad for hours when I was in high school. It was very difficult and I'm not sure why I didn't use other classes. I guess because I used to be impatient and have never enjoyed buffing/debuffing. I like all damage.

Now, being in Chapter 2, I use:
Yuna: White Mage or Fesitivist (Hour of Need)
Rikku: Warrior or Black Mage (Unerring Path w/ Machina Maw)
Paine: Gun Mage or Black Mage (Hour of Mage)

I guess I'm looking for different dresspheres for Rikku, mostly. Warrior is an okay class, but it ran its course for me years ago.

I love Thief, the quick double attack style really speaks to me somehow.

I also love Lady Luck for a similar reason, chaining auto-crits flows very nicely.

In terms of design, the absolute winner is, of course, Psychic. But I also enjoy Alchemist, Warrior, and Gun Mage. I don't much care for Samurai since it's a little goofy.

I'm not sure I ever unlocked Psychic during my first run. I didn't really run side quests either. Hmmm, maybe I'll run Lady Luck on Paine and give Yuna Gun Mage. Maybe use Physic on Rikku. Thanks for the info! ^^

While the story of FFX-2 is no doubt divisive, the game is incredible mechanically. It may very well have the single best combat of any mainline (single-player) FF game to date.

The only character-dress specific stuff I bothered with, is having each girl work on whatever dresses she gets access to in Mascot. Otherwise I just decided what to use as I went, based on what I wanted, or thought I needed.

Tell that to the LR fans that believe free ranged movement battle "makes a FF game". :steamhappy:

When I first played over a decade ago, I used Lady Luck Yuna, Alchemist Rikku and Dark Knight Paine for 2 playthroughs. Right now, I'm using their default sphere's lol. xP

If you wanna go back to the FFX days, you may wanna do Alchemist Rikku.
I didn't play X until last year and remember she has "Mix" as her Limit Break.
I guess me picking Rikku as Alchemist all those years ago was a good idea lmao.
