Just remember that on the opening launcher, you need to go into the settings and bump up the texture quality, change the language (mine defaulted to Japanese) and the resolution if you'd like.
Getting untitled project x to work is something else entirely, took me about 2 days of messing about to get it to work without instantly crashing the game or dropping the frame rate to 5 and making battles take 30 seconds to load.
Once I got it working though (using a mix of the 0.8.7 and 0.9.1 files) it works great, got shared AP, speedup and JP voices working well.
You can still probably play then beat X-2, but its an unpleasant experience to do so.

Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
Proton Hotfix
try that. it worked for me.
How are you getting such good battery life? I’m only getting 1:30 on a full charge.
dependent on Games and your handwork for each Game with the settings
if you have additional Stuff like a Fan at the back ... it is lower
overall it is very low like an AMD laptop - not really comparable to other handhelds
a lot of people only play with power cable - that is the best joke about Steam Deck

I was specifically asking about FFX how he was getting 4 hours? I’m only getting 1.5 hours on medium settings.
Other games though I get great battery life.
- there is no 4K at Steam Deck :(
- FFX is running on 30 FPS
What Games are you playing with Battery over 1:30 Hours?
