OneXPlayer (Ryzen 7 5800U) needs a mouse plugged in to bypass a starting crash
Okay this is weird. This whole time i have been testing on a OneXPlayer Mini hand held console, Ryzen 7 5800U. On its own the game will crash after the chocobo screen. But as soon as I plug a mouse in, it fired to life, tried a couple times to confirm. Really, that's not what a hand held console shd be that you need to have a mouse plugged in just to run Final Fantasy X! Can someone explain this to me?

My guess is it's some weird bug no one really anticipated, since this wasn't designed with handheld consoles in mind?

It's unrealistic to expect everything to run the same on every conceivable hardware setup.

I'm honestly just glad you found out what causes the issue, might help some other people out!

Yeah, it's just super weird that you literally need to have a mouse plugged in just to run the game. Not too sure what are the other devices recent users were having problems with when it crashes after the chocobo screen. Hope SquareEnix releases a little update with regards to it. Because if there is really the best 3D Final Fantasy that screams hand helds, it's this one.

Have you written a bug-report? If not they will neither know the problem nor fix it.

weird. any GPD handhelds I owned didn't need that.
But GPD isn't OneXplayer.
maybe you can install a virtual mouse driver and see if that solves the issue.
I don't know any in my mind but pretty sure there is something.
