Remiem Temple 5 Chests Race Trick

Edit: After about 10-20 tries and extreme silence as well as concentration, I was able to get this race done with 5 chests.


Is there some real trick to this race, getting the 5 Chests and winning? Maybe even a tool to help make this easier?

There are good routes to take - pictures of that cvan be found easily.
Don't hit the posts, don't grind along the walls, practice.
There is a bit of randomness to the other chocobos speed speed, so you might need a few tries.

But that's about it.

The biggest limiting factor is the RNG of the other chocobo. Some races you simply cannot win on 5 chests, no matter how good you are. You have to be good AND also get an enemy chocobo that's slow enough for you to make it.

Try, try, try again, I'm afraid.

there's no RNG, you have to get the first chest quick in order to get the enemy to go slower.... then you should run the corners close, but not close enough to hit the poles, ONE pole is fine, I confirmed it when I got the achievement an hour ago. go watch a video, it's much more self explanatory than anything we can say
