A good Remaster vs Original facial animations comparison video/images?

I like the remaster a lot in terms of visuals but the facial animations look stone cold and dead. I know this has been overstated a lot but I can't find a good video comparing old vs new facial expressions and analyzing them which is weird considering how dedicated of a fanbase this game has.

I can recall a specific scene at the beginning of the game where Tidus is hearing about Jecht while going to his blitzball game, and in the original FFX he has a super cool stiff upper lip "pffft" animation while in the remake there's barely any lip movement. Really curious if that kind of downgrade happens a lot or the old game only had a handful of those cool intricate animations. Any pics/gif/comparison videos would be super appreciated

Yeah it's pretty lazy work in that department, or intentional trying to create another look, who knows. In any case it's bad.

Good part is that it grows on you eventually, everything but Tidus...he is just straight up awful. That bothered me the whole game. Every cutscene it's all I could think about. Yuna had a lot of emotion stripped from her as well but doesn't look that bad in general apart from that.
