Question about the cheats
Currently I don't want to buy this version because I play with a 360 Joypad and I'm afraid I will hit a button that triggers a cheat, and I would hate for it to happen, no matter how small the cheat is. If it happened I would uninstall right after.
So my question is, how easy is to activate a cheat through my Gamepad? And also, there is an option to disable all cheats?

Normally cheats can only be activated with keyboard. Enabling them with controller requires using custom controller profiles or steams on-screen keyboard. Neither is easy to do by accident.

if you use cheats you can't unlock any achievement

Actually you can. At least toggleable cheats on F1-F5 (no encounters, auto battle and so on) row dont affect achievements at all. Not sure about permanent stuff from esc menu (gil, abilities).

I use Alt+Tab a lot to toggle tabs while playing, are those two keys safe? :S

There are 2 types of cheats.
Permanent boosts, you have to press esc and go into nested menus. Hard to do by accident
Temporal toggles (like auto battle) on F1-F5. You can rebind them to something else (in the same esc menu). Or you can even unbind them completely. Assign F1 to a different action, then assign F2 to the same action, do this for F3-F5 and then put old key back to that action if you need it, this this clear bindings from cheat actions and prevent you from being able to use them untill you restore key binds.

Actually on the ffx playthrough I'm doing now, I've activated the "parameters" quite a few times and all my achievements are pinging just fine. Matter of fact i made a second file to confirm and soon as i activated the all skills one , Kimahri's learned skill achievement came in right off the bat. Iv'e also used the infinite gil to get the bribe one. I haven't ran into a single issue with using the mods/cheats limiting the achievements from activating. Iv'e 100% this game a few times before and I must say this feature makes the hassle of grinding null and void so I can actually enjoy the whole game within a timely manner and move on. You can also use the all items cheat to jump through the grids using master spheres.
