"Favourite Outfit" and "itchy"
Well, this outfit guards against "itchy".

Of course I searched this forum and the net before posting this, but I have not found or missed an explanation of "itchy".

So, what exactly does it do?

Itchy is a malus/bad status effect. When a girl is affected, she can basically do nothing except change to another costume. After the change the bad status disappears. Of course alternatively, another girl can cure the bad status with skills/magic or items.

"Itchy" = you can't do anything EXCEPT change dress spheres

So....

two more questions:

1) In one playthrough (of about 75%, then I started over) I've never had that "itchy"-status.
Is it kind of a late game debuff?

2) When it happens, I can change dress spheres and it goes away. So what?
Why should I wear this outfit which makes changing impossible?

1) Itchy is very rare. Not worth worrying about for the most part

2) You lose time switching dresses, and you may end up in a dress you don't like for a bit, potentially being dangerous (if it's a low defense/low HP dress, for example). But as I said, Itchy (and Favorite Outfit) are so rare that it's hardly worth worrying about.

Minor correction: Favorite Outfit is an equip that gives immunity to Itchy. Curse is what prevents changing dress

As said: Itchy is a very rare status effect, and generally not worth worrying about unless you know you'll be fighting(and getting hit by) enemies who can cause it. I only know 2 enemies that can cause Itchy: One of them is a wasp type enemy using the attack W.I.M.P., and the other is the Mushroom Cloud enemy using the attack Pernicious Powder.
