got stuck on X-2 playtrough

So I'm on mission where I need to infiltrate castle Leblanc in order to steal back the sphere from that woman, the game says that I need to get ahold of three syndicate uniforms for this , but it doesn't instruct me exactly where and how, I'm just simply deployed in Guadosalam where I can't find anything that'll help me progress the game, except for some merchant offering me to buy some information from him for 10 grand, dude this'll take forever to gather. So whad do i do, grind for this 10 thousand gil or travel around Spira in hopes of finding the required disguises? I'm just afraid to go to places where im not told to because monsters there might outlevel me and i'll have a hell of a hard time fighting them in vein

The uniforms aren't random, they're found in specific locations:

One is in Mt. Gagazet, climbing Fayth's Scar and visiting the hot springs - careful with going the right way there if you want 100% completion the hot springs scene is missable; it won't affect the uniform though you always get it

One is in Bikanel Island, at the Oasis.

One is in the Djose Highroad, coming from Djose Temple towards Mushroom Rock

No. The Merchant info is a minigame where you can make a little money if you're smart about it, that's all. It has nothing to do with the story, and isn't required for completion percentage.
