Tidus/Yuna Face Mods?
Are there any that change their faces back to the original?

There's several texture mods on Nexusmods, you can check to see which one of them you like best.

Is there one that's actually the originals?

I don't know. You should go there and have a look!

You've probably realized this but there isn't really a good solution. I think there is a mod for Tidus' face that uses the PS2 textures but the geometry and animations are still a bit borked and I wasn't able to find anything for Yuna. That said, Tidus and Yuna never really looked consistent between FMV, in game high detail, in game lower detail either even with the PS2 version. In fact the HD remaster medium and low detail models are significantly nicer than the originals.

I found the best compromise was to use some of those retexture detail mods with the reshade presets (though personally I dialed back some of the settings). The retextures really help especially with skin, eyes, lips, etc. because without them the models look like silicone dummies and some of the reshade shaders can make them look very nice, if different from the originals. Its a shame because I liked how 'human' the ps2 models looked, while the new ones look very much like characters.

Animations will still be a bit a sticking point but ultimately the PS2 version is exceptionally cheap and easy to emulate with widescreen hacks as an alternative. Despite this pretty big flaw the HD remaster I think is overall the better experience.

Also If you plan on using reshade I found I needed to use UnX 0.9.1.2 to get all the effects to load consistently, and that it was hit or miss with newer versions. Do a clean install of UnX and then the reshade mod.

Those two are not the only faces I've done. Auron, Rikku, Lulu and Wakka were done to.
Since FFx uses also high-model replace, but couldn't be omitted I just imported the high-model ps2 imports as the low poly defaults.
Nice, how did you do that?
