A mod that allows you to skip cutscenes?
So the game crashes frequently and that can happen during or after a lengthy cutscene so everytime I relaunch the game I'm forced to go through the whole thing again. I know the game doesn't allow you to skip. So is there a mod that allows you to do that?

Not skip per se, no; but UnX allows you to speed up cutscenes up to x8 so you can go through them very quickly.

...then again, that also bugs out now and then and hangs the game because some weird timing things so ;)

Not ideal but acceptable workaround. Can you enable and disable it while the game is running though? Because that's where it's useful, otherwise it might also speed up new cutscenes.

Yes it's hotkeyed and you can speed up and slow back down on demand.
