Codecs is first thing I would check out if I were you.

Sometimes codecs installed get broken can cause video to show green screen and need to be uninstalled and fresh reinstalled, but that can be really annoying to do.

I run an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI, and what fixed it for me was going into the NVIDIA Control Panel-->Manage 3D Settings-->and change the Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance. You can do it on a global basis or program by program LINK[nvidia.custhelp.com]
If you don't run an NVIDIA gpu, then I got nothing for you. Sorry.

Dude! That worked for me too! I wonder how such neglectable setting might cause such issue.
I have GTX 1070 by the way.
Thanks!

I'm also getting green screens some times. I'll try the setting change.

Happening still, even with the fix.

For those who tried the settings in the nvidia control panel an it doesn't work for you, i found a solution which works for me. I struggled with this problem since i'm streaming this game and with this method i got no more green cutscenes.
Go to the installation folder and select "run as administrator" in the compatibility settings of the exe. Then start the game directly via the exe and not in the launcher

You are my new favorite person. Played this when it first came out on PC and had no issues, playing it again with a new card and couldn't find anything that worked for the green screen. This solution worked and I'm enjoying my game again.

Thanks the green screen was starting to piss me off cause it happened on some of my fav scenes and during some of my streams

Happens to me, even with the "fixes". So into the trash it goes

I tried this and the nvidia power management option. I still get green screens although its less frequent.

I had the green screen issue ONLY after installing the mods for better resolution (which I highly recommend) I did both methods and it worked Just fine. Im getting an annoying error on launch, but I can live with that to not have in-game issues.

1) NVIDIA Control Panel-->Manage 3D Settings-->and change the Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance.
2) Open file location for launcher, instead of the x / x2 launcher, there is an 'x' launcher, right click it, properties, run as admin... then create a shortcut on your desktop =)

The only real fix I can find is to restart the game every hour. The longer you play in one session the more likely the cutscene will go green
