Settings are in Japanese
Hi there, I just bought this game and am unfortunately unable to customize it in the settings menu. The whole thing is in Kanji (Japanese) and I'd really like to be able to tweak my graphics settings.

Can someone please help me figure out what's what? Thanks a ton!

First screen (before you have even selected a game) there's a setting option in plain text below all the buttons. This will send you to a dialog box (which is also in Japanese). All you need to know is that the first Drop Down box you see is the language selection menu. At the top of it is English. Select that and then click either the leftmost or the rightmost button at the bottom of the Dialog box. This saves the language change and now it starts in English.

Nevermind, I poked around enough to find how to switch the game to English.

Still, surprised that it started out in Japanese.

It does that for some people and I've yet to see an explanation as to why. Is your default system language something other than English by any chance?

Nope

Very strange indeed. But I'm glad you've already fixed it so I guess all's well that ends well.
