Macalania Woods - Butterfly Hunt

Dear FF community,
I need your feedback to my question. I have already won butterfly hunt in central and northern part of Macalania woods and collected Megalixir x2 and Elixir x2. Now, I have Airship , I would like to master both areas in order to get Teleport Sphere and Saturn Sigil. I have win 1rst challenge but the treasure is empty. Does it mean that butterfly hunt can only be done once in the game ?

Once the hunt is done you can Only repeat it after 2 points in the story that reset it, so you can do it 3 times Maximum:

1 - before fighting the sphere-blob (you missed that) - which gives an MP-Sphere as one reward
2 - after sphereblob but before Airship
3 - after Airship.

Are you sure you have full access to the airship yet? And that you have not collected any rewards yet?

Hey, thanks for your answer. Well I didn't try to hunt before fighting the sphere-blob ^^'
Indeed, I missed MP-sphere as a reward. Perhaps I do not have full access to the airship. I am currently at Macalania woods after beating Seymour at Bevelle! Good news that story can reset and thus allow to challenge butterflies after Airship. Let me check and let you know ;)

Yes that is not full airship access, that will take some more time. Wait until you can freely select where to go with the airship.
