Trying to get Anima and apparently missed two destruction spheres

One in Besaid (i guess because i was brand new to the game) and one in Djose. I went back to Besaid once I got the airship to be surprised by Dark Valefor. Beat him with my Aeons but once I get to the temple, the warrior monk won't let me in. I'm about to see if I can enter Djose but I doubt that.

Am I seriously not going to be able to get Anima after all this gameplay? lol

You should be able to get back into the temples to redo the Cloister of Trials. The only temple you cannot return to is Bevelle, and you cannot leave that without using the Destruction Sphere so Anima is not missable.

You may need to progress the story a bit more or something, I'm not sure if there's certain parts where you can't go back - but once you get to Sin, you should be able to revisit all the temples except Bevelle.

You may also have to just talk to the right NPC, it's possible you don't just walk in for all temples but have to talk to the right person to let you in etc. Try talking to the people around the entrance to the Cloister, and in some temples also maybe in the side rooms to the left and right of it? I've never had to go back myself but I know for sure it's possible (eventually).

In story, Yuna and co get cleared of their traitor status, and you should be permitted into the temples after that. This happens shortly after you get access to the airship, so you won't need to do much to get to that point.

ShinkuTear is right. After getting the airship you just have to revisit Bevelle with the airship once and watch a few minutes of story (I think there isn't a single fight). After that Yuna's party is cleared and you can revisit the temples.
Actually every time you redo a cloister of trails after this point you get to talk to the fayth and receive a few small presents. Just watch out, Besaid isn't the only temple protected by a dark aeon.

If you plan on revisiting the trials your gonna be fighting dark aons......you should plan your strategy around that...

oh yeah, i found a post last night about this really late so i didn't update this. I honestly clicked 'highbridge' by accdent and thought i was going into the final thing but luckily it was the story that was mentioned above. I haven't gone back just yet since then but I will shortly

yeah those dark aeons are no joke (9999 on every hit), luckily all my aeons were on Overdrive and i literally had to use them ALL and finished it off with yojimbo bahaha
