what are some fun paths on the spheregrid ( expert)
i always let Tidus and Auron switch paths a little , same with Yuna and Lulu , is it good to send Tidus down Rikkus path ? or maybe have Rikku go to Auron and auron go to rikku ?
sadly i never experimented much in the Game but i really would like to do that now

You can do whatever you want on the SG, particularly the Expert one. The story portion of the game isn't hard enough to punish anything you'd like to do, so feel free to experiment! And at endgame everyone will have everything anyway.

i know but i just tend to always go the default ways , keep Fighters as Fighters and keep Mages mages

Nothing is forcing you to do that except habit :) Try Yuna on fighter, oneshot everything with 9,999 Aeons.

I haven't counted, but I like Auron's path more because it connects so well to Tidus' and all that Accuracy on Wakka's path isn't spectacularly useful during the story progression part.

On the Fighter Yuna topic: Her aeons stats scale off of her own in the same stat. They seem built around the idea of a Mage Yuna, so their HP, Strength, and I think Defense are notably higher than hers, but their various magical stats are not.

So if you turn Yuna into a face smasher, expect her Aeons to do terrible things to any enemies. And, should Aeons fail, Yuna can still smack her enemies into the Farplane using blunt force.

Another thing I like, is Kimahri as a main fighter. It is kinda nice to see him use one of his overdrives, like the kick, and a juicy 40,000~ rings out, at a time when other people may or may not be able to break 10,000(pending on build). Some of his attacks have more of a visual *pow* to them, making them look nice when they finish an enemy.

how do you get Kimahri as a Fighter ?
i always dont level him at all until i get a lvl 1 sphere to get Steal & Use for biran and yenke should i then make him go up to tidus and to auron ? ( expert grid)

That's certainly an option. You get a lvl.1 Sphere Key fairly early on, so you can just camp near Use/Steal until you do and then switch over to Auron, Wakka, or Tidus for more damage.

Personally, I just ignore Kimahri after stealing from Yenke and Biran. He's completely uninteresting in every way.

Kimahri as a fighter, by giving him lots of HP/Str/Def, same as every other character you want as a fighter. Tidus, Wakka, Auron, or Rikku sections of the grid are all good for this, with Tidus IMO being best.

The only differences, really, are from the Celestial Weapons and the overdrives. Everything else, any character can be the same as any other. Well, some convenience aspects, I guess, like the length of the attack animation (Lulu's takes forever).

In terms of overdrives, Wakka, Tidus, Rikku, and Auron are certainly the most useful. The first 3 in particular are basically the only ones you use against superbosses (and only against some of them) while all other overdrives are essentially useless at endgame.

The Celestial Weapons are also mostly irrelevant. There is a very slight upside on those weapons that have counterattacks, but it's really just very small. And there's always Auron's First Strike ability and Rikku's Gilionnaire, which are amazing during early endgame capturing/grinding but of no real use (or very marginal) against bosses.

You can do perfectly alright just using whatever character you want, or, alternatively, whatever character you can be bothered to unlock the CWs for. Rikku, Auron, and Yuna, for example, have some of the easiest CWs to unlock with nearly no skill required in the minigames (if there even are any). Lulu, Kimahri, and to a degree Tidus are the hardest ones. Wakka just takes a lot of time in BB.
