FF X-2 question bout O'aka's debt

If i failed to pay off his debt before CH3 but i pay off his debt after starting CH3 , will this effect the 100 % progress?

IIRC you have to pay it off before visiting Macalania in Chapter 3. You can still do it at the start of Chapter 3.

I still haven finish my game yet, so i still don't know it work or not. And i pay off his debt at the start of CH3, and its make me anxious because i read most of the guides tell u to pay off his debt before CH3.

Finished the game 100% in one play through, paying at start of ch3 works fine!
Also, make sure to capture atleast one choco before the end of ch3.

I just finish the game 99% and i dunno where i got wrong. Can i know which was the best walkthrough for me to complete 100% ?
