i now found my old guidebook for the ps2 , just memorizing that map and looking at the Map instead of Tidus made it really easy

Butterflies have always been and will always be a friggin' nightmare. Thank Bhunivelze that Kimahri is a POS character anyway so I can just bench him forever in every game.

i never did them to be honest , however while the butterflies kept destroying me , i first tried the chocobo race (sub 0 Seconds)

Butterfly catching is easy. Just look at where your feet are in relation to the butterfly shadows. Should help you dodge the red ones easily enough and given 2-3 tries you will get the chest on the 3rd run without any problems :D

thats how the hitboxes are, I believe its the same on PS2 as well.
I just hated the butterfly game since back in 2005 when i first played FFX.
