is there any way to get the jupiter sigil besides resetting ?

i just finished getting all of the overdrives and i kinda want to be done with blitzball , but i also dont want to reset , brother already is level 30 , i dont want to start with him at level 1 again but no matter how often i reload my game , the reward doesnt change and im not in any league or tournament right now , i finished just the minimum amount of leagues and tournaments

should i maybe go into a tournament and try to get it to spawn that way or what should i do exactly

If I am correct, the prizes for tournaments only change during 3 specific situations.

1: A new tournament comes up after the old one ends
2: You load a save before the current tournament started, and play until the tournament starts.
3: You reset Blitzball stats.

Since your rewards are not changing when you load, your save is likely *after* the tournament started, isn't it? If so, you need to go for 1 or 3, and get a new tournament through either method.

Tournament is 2-3 games.

Save just before the 5-6th, then complete it. See if the new tournament has the sigil. If it doesn't, reload and play the 2-3rd game again.

IIRC the overdrive/sigil prizes always alternate between tournament and league. So if your last prize was in a tournament, the next one will be in a league no matter how many times you reset. So you can't just keep resetting to get all tournaments - you HAVE to play leagues as well.

The Jupiter Sigil is a league prize only. Once it shows up you'll have to play the full league game which is 10 matches. Tournaments are 2-3 games depending on whether or not you get seeded. Again, the Jupiter Sigil will not show up as a Tournament prize.

If you looked at the league prizes and then saved your game the league prizes are set and won't change until you complete that league (even if you hadn't played a match yet). If you did that, finish all 10 games and instead of selecting "Continue playing blitzball" after the 10th game you should select "Back". Then save your game. Then play blitzball and check the prizes. If it isn't a Jupiter Sigil soft reset your game (I'm assuming/hoping you have Kaladien's Untitled X mod). Keep doing that until the Jupiter Sigil is the league prize.

With 390 hours played on the Steam version alone there is very little I don't know about this game. This is my favorite Final Fantasy game. At least once a year I'll re-master the game. Every once in a while I'll even reset my Steam Achievements just so I can unlock them again. I'm currently in the process of clearing every stat node and replacing it with +4/+40 MP/+300 HP. It's a grind, but I like it. I will say that I cheat slightly. I use Kaldaien's Untitled X mod with the booster to share AP with ALL party members. I like leveling everyone together, but I dislike having to swap in and defend for one turn just to get the AP.

I'm currently going for a 100% run after beating the OG PS2 version, just the main story there. That's what I do with FF games. Get the OG copy (If I have the console) beat the main story, buy it again on Steam and 100% it. FF7 is an exception - Got 100% in that on the OG physical copy version.

that was my problem , at the end i just kept on pressing "keep playing" because i wanted to be done with it before i exited after every round to save but when i realized i could always win anyway i stopped doing that because the risk of losing was gone because brother was level 30 tidus is level 21 , meanwhile most enemy players are around 13-15 , against some teams without good defense i had rounds with 10-17 goals against them


guess im playing that league and this time i wont click keep playing , thanks , also i had project X installed but i dont think i have it right now , forgot what it exactly did , i think i only had it for 4k textures

I highly recommend UnX even if you don't use texture mods. Kaldaien did a pretty good job with the mod correcting some kinks in the game. Also, I don't believe you can soft reset the game without it (I use a controller, so I use the old PS2 soft reset combo: L1+L2+R1+R2+Start+Select). I could be wrong on that, but I was pretty sure it's his mod that allows the soft reset. That's great because you don't have to relaunch the .exe every time you don't get the Jupiter Sigil.
