the game frequently goes on discount during summer and winter sale , its 50% cheaper during those sales and theres also square enix sales where it gets discounted

but i dont think the normal price is much for 2 games

Surprisingly its not on sale this time around. Its funny how Square Enix give such deep discounts on games developed by western studios like Eidos Montreal but would never give discount higher than 50% on Final Fantasy franchise!!!

If something isn't going on sale, it usually means it's already selling well enough.

The fact that 7, 9, 10/10-2 and 12 are all left out of the sale almost certainly has to do with the fact that all those games either just released or are about to come out on Switch and Xbox and they don't want to encourage people who might buy them there to get them for cheaper on a Steam sale first.

I saved up money hoping for a discount because i only have 21$ but i guess i have to wait until summer >.>

Do a Google search for "cheap steam games" (without the quotation marks). The first link has this game available for $9.57 right now. I can't link the website myself as I'm pretty sure that would violate some forum rule.

then wait for the next big sale , discounts happen alot and if you arent willing to pay full price you have to be patient

well , they only hurt their own wallet , i have two people who would have bought 10 because i recomended it , i would have even gifted 10 to one , just gifted 13-2 and lightning returns instead

and the other person said he would have loved to play 10 , i think he never played any of the new ff after the 2d era and maybe ps1 era

well too bad , i would have gifted it to them on steam , not on switch , games coming out on the xbox or switch have 0 impact on pc sales , i had ffx on ps2, i didnt get a ps3 , i didnt get a ps4 , these rereleases made no money off me the moment it was on steam i preordered it

not making discounts because something also launches on another platform would be the dumbest decission ever , any pc only player or even a multiplat gamer who knows something about consoles would never get this on console . switch atleast has the benefit of "playing on the go , but my budget laptop can handle ffx too

but on xbox ? microsoft made it clear they have a new console out this or next year , why would i get final fantasy 10 on that ? if i am a fan of the game , i would want to have it on a platform where i can also keep it
