Attack Reels doesn't appear?

I'm in a bit of a pickle.

This topic is pretty often discussed and I think I researched it well enough but I still have a problem. I know how I'm supposed to upgrade World Champion and I know where to get the Reels and the Sigil BUT...

Attack Reels doesn't seem to show up as a Tournament prize. Even with rerolling.

What I did was:
First I completed two or three Exhibition matches, just to get a feel of the game etc. Then, I completed the first League with some irrelevant prizes, I had to do it to actually get the World Champion weapon at the bar counter, so I did and I have it.

Now, Attack Reels is supposed to be a Tournament prize so I'm doing a prize reset method, first I did it by reopening Blitzball menu 6 times to reset the prizes, but now I just did a save before new prizes appear and I reload the entire game, it's faster that way.

But it still doesn't show up. I never played Tournament in my entire playthrough, the prizes cycle properly but I'm only getting some trash items like potions and some useless tactics. I cycled through the prizes like 15 times already.

What's the deal here? Am I just that unlucky? O_o

I know I can also reset player data and I intended to do it for Leagues because I'm not going to play all 10 matches every time just to reroll the prices. But I need that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Attack Reels first.

I just got it like a minute ago. What I did for the Attack Reels to show up was actually winning the first Tournament. After that it showed up as the next prize. It seems like you have to get the achievement "Show Off!" first.

Now, only thing left is to bite the bullet and play through the Leagues. Ugh.

Sometimes it gets bugged regardless however you play or win. It took me long-ass time for auroch weels to appear (Without all Reels you cant get fully upgraded Wakka celestial weapon). So if you're noticing that Reels or rewards are not appearing, I would highly recommend reset all stats.

Yup, I was already planning on resetting the players data. In fact, I already did that and I am currently in the process of getting Status Reels, near the end of the league. Good thing that Blitzball is at least mildly entertaining... unlike that god forsaken Chocobo Race in the Calm Lands. >_>

I wish blitzball rewards were more appealing. When it gives you one Elixir or something equally stupid, it kinda beats the purpose of the minigame. 1 mega-Elixir is nothing in the late game considering that you can bribe all monsters to get those rare consumables or crafting materials whenever you want. So besides Wakkas reels and celestial weapon, playing Blitzball is really not worth it. Also Sighing up players can be such pain in the ass. I tried so many times to recruit Nimrook (GK from Al bhed), they always make him new contract from 5-20 games (I tried like 10x always reloading previous save, just before contract is about to expire).

As for Chocobo race, it's annoying (calm lands + hidden temple), but manageable. I did them on my keyboard after some practice.

I just settled for Brother, Durren as a goalkeeper and Tidus with Jecht Shot and every match is piece of cake. But I agree, other for the Reels it's really not worth the time, unless someone REALLY likes Blitzball.
