is shuu a viable blitzball player ?
since im planning on completely playing everything normal ( instead of just cheating Tidus to level 99 ) i need a good blitzball team , i dont know who i should get tho . thought about linna , and kyou (i always used him as a goalkeeper)

which of the free agents are viable and which arent ( i think i heard the one guy that disappears after you fight sin loses stats on max level is that right ?

EDIT: i got biggs , wedge , jumal and shuu now , later throwing in the guy on mihen highroad (Ropp or something like that) also everyone is just under contract for 1 game i am just collecting players for now after i got more gil i will actually play blitzball

PS: im planning on going back to besaid for aurons sphere later , should i get Vilucha in besaid ?

Personally, I think as long as you have Tidus, Brother, and Ropp you're set for Blitzball. Everyone else is just decoration.

But yeah, there's definitely a number of decent players around you can get if you want to make really sure. Shuu is fine, as is Vilucha. Out of Biggs and Wedge I think only one is really worth having (can't remember which), and there's a number of decent goalies around. Kyou is one of them.

It also depends on what you want from Blitzball. If all you care about is Wakka's stuff, you can look at player stats in the lvl 1-30 range as that's most likely going to be where you're at for most if not all of it. Higher levels only really matter if you're super into Blitzball and play it way, way, WAY past the unique rewards.

well , for now i just want to get wakkas stuff and maybe experiment a bit with higher levels ( like stealing players like nimrook with the save and load method until they dont put him under contract again , but the thing i really want to do is learn blitzball , learn how to properly use formations , how to learn the abilities etc

( i also read this on a forum years ago : in order to level the goalie i should put him in defense and toss the ball around between him and the other defender)

i really never played everything the way i was supposed to , i first played FFX when i was around 11-13 years old , back then i only let the timmer run down in the luca match and never touch blitzball again , later after i got an action replay i just cheated a 99 score to win a few matches to get wakkas weapon , but i really want to play the game normal now , so ill probably play blitzball for atleast 10-30 Hours , try out alot players and write down which ones are good and which arent

thanks , i will get vilucha

Brother is a pretty popular choice, but I prefer Zev Ronso as my midfielder since you don't have to wait until the airship to get him and he has enough pass and block to dominate any other team's offensive line. Get rid of Biggs, Wedge and Ropp should be your defenders.
