I can't get the cloudy mirror

Hey all,

I have raced the chocobo at least fifty times, and all I get is a potion. He never gave me the cloudy mirror. I went back to a save from before I had first raced him, raced him, and he still didn't give me the cloudy mirror. No idea what's wrong. I've gone and reunited the family in Macalania Woods so I actually have access to that thing up there already, but since I don't have the cloudy mirror, it doesn't give me the celestial mirror.

Anyone know of anything that might help? I've read through a thousand different posts explaining that all you need to do is win that chocobo race at Remiem temple the first time, but mine won't give it to me. :|

Since I'm assuming it's a bug, and I really don't want to start over and go through 30 hours of cutscenes again, does anyone have a savegame from somewhere near beating Yunalesca, or a little before that they wouldn't mind sharing? Maybe a different savegame will help.

I'm pretty disappointed that I play all this way, and now I don't get to do the Celestial Weapons, which is the most fun part of the game. :(

You need to win the race AND not touch any poles in the process.

Yeah I did that too. Still doesn't work, unfortunately. :(
