why is shiva so broken
im currently fighting belgemine and for some reason my shiva does insane damage , able to 1 shot every of her aeons with her overdrive , shiva generally gets to 9999 Damage easily with her overdrive , now since i got a few ultimate weapons she does up to 40.000 damage already , why she just has 70 Magic and Yuna has 60 Magic

EDIT:
so far only anima required 2 overdrives the rest all got 1 shot , im just before the fight with sin , how is my shiva this strong

Her attacks depend on her Strength, not her Magic. Magic is only used for actual spellcasting (black/white magic) not for attacks or overdrives.

Aeon stats grow with Yuna's progression as well so maybe you leveled her nicely.

i only finished yunas normal path , strength wise yuna is very weak she just has 5 strength and shiva has 42 , yet her overdrive always is OP , even against Anima right after you obtain her shiva is able to deal insane damage( i think even 9999 )

Aeons grow fairly rapidly. If you're using Yuna a lot and leveling her, the Yuna-based part of the aeons' growth will be substantial. I tend to level Yuna into a proper fighter just for funsies, and that allows you to literally oneshot Belgemine's challenges. Not to mention what you do to Isaru in Bevelle.

Outside of specific challenge runs, though, aeons are mostly meatshields at endgame, used to block party-wipe attacks. The only aeons you might find yourself using are Anima and Magus Sisters, because they have massive multi-hit attacks that can potentially be useful in some special circumstances. In Anima's case there's also Pain, which is probably the most efficient way to kill the I'm-immune-to-everything flan in the Monster Arena.
