Fury/Lulu's Overdrive not registering with controller?
All of my controller inputs are fine (I'm using a 3rd party controller that uses xinput so it recognizes them as xbox controls), and even recognizes right analog tilts and such, but for some odd reason rotating with fury doesn't work.

Are you using the second analog stick to do it? It's not the one you use to move.

Huh, I always thought it was the right analog stick.

Well it actually IS the right analog stick, since you move around with the left one... :0

How come the rotation wasn't registering?

Could just be a problem with controller mapping. Maybe you haven't mapped anything onto the second stick for your controller?

I assume that it doesn't register ANYTHING and not just less than you think - because that would be by design. Lulu's Fury doesn't increase the counter per rotation, it's based on a number of factors such as her MAG stat and what spell you're using and can take many rotations per 1 increment of the counter.

Nah right control stick is responsive. Seems like whenever I activate it, regardless of whether a controller is installed, it always shows keyboards <- ->

Put your controller away and mash your keyboard instead, that works fine. I actually manage to get one or two casts more out of Lulu this way than I ever used to get on PS2 back in the day ;)

It's also based on her level. As you level up, it will be easier to get full rotations. But if you're lower level you're still limited to the amount you can do, no matter how fast you spin

There are no levels in FFX. It's entirely based on her Magic stat and what spell you choose.
