LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
PS. Just buy a new Switch exclusive for that price.
Otherwise its pretty much the same game.
just technical differences in like:
>1280x720 instead of 960x544
>much higher texture resolution
>higher dynamic shadow resolution
>probably Ambient occlusion?
I'd say the Switch version looks probably equal to the PS3 version.
I'm thinking about getting this or FF7 on the switch, but 7 is really aged.
Which one is worth it?
FF7 is $16 btw but the graphics is really holding me back...
I've played Octopath traveller as well if that's what you mean by traditional, but the random encounters threw me off.
But checking your libery it will play very, very similarly to dragon quext xi
If you hate random encounters, FFX is likely a turn-off for you. In some areas, the encounter rate is terribly high and interruptive. In Mt. Gagazet, I clocked that you'll run into an encounter every 6 seconds on average. In Bravely Default, the time was about 10-15 seconds, usually closer to 15 seconds, when you're using the default encounter rate. Does Octopath Traveller have the same feature as Bravely Default, being able to change the encounter rate from the menu?
I would have thought so, but I can't make the connection between a code entered on an account with Square Enix to my physical game cartridge inside my Nintendo Switch. What happens inbetween to allow me to play the game?
I left the game for a few mins to see if there was anything to auto download, checked in the options for updates then opened the game to see if it would activate from the main menu. Nothing worked. I'm waiting to speak to someone at Nintendo to help fix the issue, but they're closed over Easter. If not then I'll return it for a refund.
Is the upgrade good enough to buy the same game again?
