i havent really played 10-2 so i cant say anything on that but 10 is an amazing game
FFX-2 is a bit easier overall in my opinion, though this might just be how the class system worked out, but some fights are actually difficult... normally. If you bother messing with the Creature Creator system then the main story is a joke, and only a select few enemies will put up any resistance... but even they can be beaten within a minute.
You can always out level content which will make the game easier than normal. If you follow the storyline, fight only those fights that you need to fight, you will find the game to be very satisfying.
long story short, dont do what I did. It makes the game unbeatable. invest in your characters, not the aeons.
