Monster Arena Cheat

I've played through the game a couple of times already, and I'm thinking about replaying once again - one of my favorite games of all time. But every time I think about starting a new game I remember how much of a pain some of the monster capturing is. I like to do the "end game grind" up through the Monster arena, doing all of that "end game content". But capturing 10 Simurghs and 10 Master Tonberry, or regular Tonberrys (I forget which are rarer) is just such a headache. Does anyone know of some *simple* mods or cheats that make this less of a headache? I already know about the ability to turn the game speed and encounter rate up, but hunting for Simurghs is still not fun.

I would recommend using Farplane, which is a very simple, very easy-to-use savegame editor. You can use it to set the number of captures for any monster you like, so you can just capture normally for the most part and simply go to 10 for the really annoying monsters like the ones you mentioned. A nice compromise, I find, between actually playing the game and not playing it for 10 hours just to get that last Tonberry.
