Kingdom Hearts on PC

So, assuming that Kingdom Hearts does gets ported over to pc as unlikely as that might be at the moment, how well do you think it will work on mouse+keyboard? All of the games were made with consoles in mind anyway, and unless they bring significant changes under the hood, it's very possible that these games would be played on gamepad only. And that definitely would be annoying...

I don't think there has been a single JRPG port that has gone out of the way to rework the control scheme to work comfortably on keyboard and mouse. If you play a lot of JRPGs it's better to just go and buy a controller for them. The great thing about PC is not that it has mouse and keyboard, it's that you can use any control method that fits the game the best.
I would imagine it would be playable with mouse and keyboard though, but it won't be optimal.

It wouldn't be annoying since those games were made for gamepads.
And you can already get a decent gamepad for under 30 bucks.

if you want to try playing Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 with keyboard and mouse you can actually customize the controls with the PS2 emulator PCSX2, I tried it before but playing like that is not as comfortable as with a controller.
