Player outlines: On or Off

What do you guys play with and why?

On because i don't wanna flick on my teammates head by accident

I would turn it off, but then it's hard to see teammates. One of the main reasons why I would've turned it off is because the outlines of your teammates sometimes gets in the way and you end up dying because your teammate was behind. It's unfortunate, but I'd recommend keeping it on.

I have it off.

Main reason is because I think its sometimes confusing, it looks like your teammate is in a room or on site, but when you walk in, you get killed and realize the teammate is afk outside.

I would use outlines if they turned on at some close distance and was off past that.

I do the same for this exact reason. I domed my teammate in the back of the head during a stressful 2 v 4.... it quickly became a 1 v 4 after that lol.

I thought we were referring to the brightened enemy outlines at a distance, which I very much hate. It makes this game feel very arcade-like and frustrating, as it feels goofy seeing someone down the far end of a hallway looking like they've got a strip of LED lights wrapped around them to make them easier to see.

As you can see, I don't like it from both ways. I don't like seeing people who are trying to hide, and I don't like people seeing me when I'm trying to be a bit more sneaky with my positioning. All the outline does is makes this game even more of a fast-paced/flick shooter and less of a tactical shooter because you can't even have the drop on someone when you have the drop on someone because "muh enemy highlights".

I turned mine off. It took a bit getting used to not shoot teammates around corners but ive wound up liking it better.
