Ash - The Israeli Operator

Just thought I'd make this post to clear up the misunderstanding that there is no IDF representative in the game, as there is one, I'm an Israeli my self and that is a lot of honor, I would of course love a full IDF roster / DLC, but thats amazing as well.

Ash: Ash's real name is Eliza Cohen, she was born in Jerusalem (Israel ofcs), she enlisted to IDF and served as a mechanical maintenance and demolitions soldier.

She joined the FBI SWAT due to an international law enforcement exchange program. Ash is the only FBI Operator not born in the US.

Also, a very cool fact is that Ash has a hat that costs 30K Renown and is a military hat (forgot the actual name of the hat) that has an Israeli Special Unit Symbol and style. (can't remember the name, just go and check, its the name of the hat).

I'd put my money on thier being an IDF operator in R6S2. That is why they have not introduced isreali weapons. The TAR21, Uzi, Galil, Jericho, ect.

Also, these are old weapons not used by IDF anymore, SOMETIMES the Galil, SOMETIMES. Don't know any one using one tbh. We Use the Tavor and the MTAVOR or MTAV or whatever they called it in Black Ops. (COD).

israeli special forces now days use militery varients of the Tavor , which is pretty hi tech stuff

Edit : also the grey beret she has as an unlockable headgear is the israeli air force beret.
so if shes special forces i'd say she was either Shaldag or 669

669 is search & rescue or extract friendlies underfire (while still being able to stand thier own) while shaldag is the obvious choise for her "skills" for being a infiltration commando unit (also her penetrating shot skill is spot on) .

also let's not forget israel invented krav maga, the ultimate "no bs kill you in the shortest amount of time" martial art there is

Yep, I wrote that (about the Tavor I mean).

FYI, the Desert Eagle is a very uncommon weapon you'd actually see used by an army.. Maybe for a shooting range or private ownage but no soldier uses that weapon. Not american's as well by what I know. Don't hold me on that

Well tbh, I don't care as well for the operator's story, but as an Israeli I found it cool, got really hyped when I noticed the hat's name is in Hebrew and is an IDF squad. Israeli's would like it and people who know about the IDF and its skills might love it so why not make this harmless thread, its just a tiny bit of info.

Haha so true, FYI, we are still dealing with ♥♥♥♥. MAGAV unit מג"ב which is basicly the Border Watch Unit deal with a lot of ♥♥♥♥ on a daily basis, they are due to the high terror threat in Israel simply not only in borders but in key locations that might be marked for a terrorist attack or something of that sort, like Jerusalem..
