BANNED

Ok so this is my brothers PC and he just got banned on RB6 Siege ( Uplay ) and i'm wondering if he were to want to play ( without cheating ) again would he be able to do so on this same PC? ( Do they HWID Ban? or just account ban? ) -

Also my dilemma is that i use his PC Sometimes when i stay here for work and i'm too afraid to login to my own account that has no association with his incase my account gets banned for logging in to play on the same PC, is that a thing?

I don't want to let him use MY Personal Account because as we all now know he can't be trusted, but he desperately wants to play again and i too want to play on my own account while i'm here ( Or wanted to ) so whats the deal?

TLDR;

Brothers PC - Has his own Uplay account and got banned on RB6

He wants to play again, Can he play if he buys a new copy on a fresh uplay account?

Do they HWID BAN? Is his PC Useless now for RB6?

If i logged in to play on MY account that hasn't been banned, Would it in-turn get banned for loggin on with the same PC?

Cheers guys ( This is my brothers steam account, so as you can see he's been banned before VACation ) I should beat his ass.

He better make sure all the cheats are uninstalled next time he logs into the game, though. Game doesn't need a HWID if the cheats are still installed. :)

Right, as far as i know he hasn't got them on the PC any more, would them just being on the PC cause a ban on his new account? Even if he doesn't load them up?

Indeed, hell I just use trainers for SP games and Battleye detects it, I've had to buy arma for 4 accounts ;-;

To OP, I would not personally trust running siege on your brothers pc, just because you don't know if his cheats are setup to run on startup. Might I suggest you buy a seperate harddrive or if theres room instal a personal copy of windows on his pc for your own use.

This^

Cheats can run in many different forms ranging from game file modification, to dll injection, to memory manipulation. Software like BE looks for all of these signatures at runtime. Simply having a cheat on the system installed for another game can trigger a ban.

The only safe way to get around the issue is to have a completely new partition allocaton on hard disk with a unique OS install that is clean of all cheats. The easier way to do it would be to buy a different PC for you. Easy being a relative term. :P

I got banned but that was just because I forgot to restart pc when I ran rainbow because i had a spoofer for this game. I got a new rainbow on a new account. hopefully its not banned since i did nothing.

Since then they actually ban HWID on those who got caught more than once.
